Danni Huang is a New York-based artist who treats memory as a material: not only personal memory, but the memory held in geology, in matter, and in the body. Working across sculpture, installation, digital work and performance, her practice often begins inward with intimate anchors of memory and extends outward toward the wider world. Moving between digital and physical processes, she creates works that exist in a state of transformation, with forms that never fully settle. Rooted in the emotional terrain of diaspora, her work traces the interconnectedness of beings: human and natural, past and present, self and other.

She received a Bachelor of Management from Fudan University in Shanghai, and a Master's degree in art and technology from ITP of Tisch School of the Arts, New York University.
